THE OPEN UKRAINIAN CITATION INDEX MAKES MILLIONS OF OPEN SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS EASILY ACCESSIBLE

The Open Ukrainian Citation Index (OUCI), a search engine and scientific citation database based on the metadata of Crossref publications, is integrated with the contents of the open database Unpaywall, which contains information on over 25,500,000 legal free scientific publications. The OUCI users can quickly find open publications simply by using the Open Access search filter.

The database Unpaywall receives data directly from more than 50,000 open journals and repositories worldwide, and uses open data from PubMed Central, DOAJ, Crossref and DataCite. The Unpaywall is supported by Impactstory, a non-profit organization that helps make science more open and research results accessible to reuse.
