Rules of use of SSTL of Ukraine
Any citizen of Ukraine or another state who has reached the age of 16 can register in the library.
To do this you need to have:
- a passport or other document certifying proof of identity, with a notation of registration at the place of residence or stay;
- student card (or graduation book) – for students;
- a document confirming the right to benefits – for citizens who are legally entitled to benefits.
Recording to the library and issuing a reader’s ticket is carried out at the point of recording and control in the reading room of the SSTL of Ukraine on the 14th floor at: 03680 Kyїv, 180 Antonovycha street; phone (044) 521-93-52.
A reader’s ticket can be reserved remotely on the official site of the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine in the section “E-catalog”. To do this, you need to click on the key sign next to the word “Authorization” and complete the form “Registration card of the reader”. After that, you will receive an e-mail message with the number of the reader’s ticket (password), which will allow you to authorize and pre-order publications from the Library’s electronic catalog.
To work in the reading room of the library, you must have an annual plastic ticket (₴ 40) or one-time ticket (₴ 10).
The reader’s ticket gives its owner the right to personal use of the Library and may not be transferred to other persons.
