DEPOSIT
OF INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITY RESULTS
In order to develop librarianship in Ukraine, replenish the national library and information fund, and meet the needs of authors/co-authors in the evidence base in the event of protection of their rights, the SSTL of Ukraine has developed instructions and provides the possibility of depositing an object of scientific and technical content.
We offer a convenient and effective way to publish scientific papers and scientific and technical developments through the deposit system.
Upon completion of the deposit procedure, the author/co-author receives
a certificate of depositing the result of intellectual activity.
WHAT DOES THE DEPOSIT GIVE?
- fixation of copyright to the result of intellectual activity;
- informing the general public about the objects of deposit;
- free advertising of the intellectual product through the website of the SSTL of Ukraine;
- a source of passive income (in case of using copies of the intellectual property, the author receives a fee).
HOW TO DO IT?
– Decide on the type of deposit:
- with disclosure;
- without disclosure.
– Prepare supporting documents in accordance with the list of documents:
For deposits with disclosure:
- application for deposit in the form according to Annex 1;
- an abstract drawn up in accordance with the requirements specified in Annex 2;
- a copy of the object to be published;
- agreement in accordance with Annex 4 in two copies;
- copy of the identity document certified by the applicant’s signature;
- a document confirming payment for the service.
In case of deposit without disclosure: - application for deposit in the form according to Annex 1;
- an abstract prepared in accordance with the requirements set forth in Annex 2;
- a copy of the object not subject to publication;
- a document confirming payment for the service.
